Restobot is building the next generation of automation

Restobot helps companies to reduce their reliance on human labor, enhance efficiency and speed up operations using advanced robotics.

Restobot is transforming work in the real world with AI-powered robotic platform. Designed to tackle the most labor-intensive varying tasks, our robotic applications can operate where traditional industrial automation cannot be applied.

Backed by Icebreaker.vc and Business Finland, Restobot focuses on practical applications of AI-powered robotics. Restobot has worked with tens of businesses, from commercial kitchens to manufacturing, identifying where robotics can genuinely improve efficiency and productivity.

Restobot is founded by Tuomas Lukka as part being an Entrepreneur in Residence at Icebreaker.vc. Tuomas is one of Finland's most experienced robotics specialists. Prior to starting Restobot Tuomas was a co-founder and CTO of a robotics pioneer Zen Robotics, where he spent 13 years. Before joining the business world Tuomas became Finland’s youngest PhD at the age of 20 in 1995 and has worked as a researcher at Harvard and Helsinki University of Technology.

If you're interested in finding out how robotic automation can benefit your business, we’re here to help. Let us analyze your operations and identify areas where robotics can make a difference.

Megatrends driving change

Increasing costs and  labor shortage

As labor shortages intensify and operational costs rise, industries are incentivized to turn to robotics to maintain productivity and reduce dependency on human labor.

Decreasing  price of robots

The average price of an industrial robot has halved over the past decade, to about $23k in 2022 from $47k in 2011, and is predicted to fall a further 50-60% by 2025.

Rapidly developing open source AI models

Billions invested in the development of open source AI models is significantly reducing capital and time requirements in model development.
